The Providence Canteen was requested to the town of North Providence for a police incident. Members remained on scene for almost 17 hours, serving hot/cold drinks, food and snacks.

​Canteen 1 was on scene in Mashpee MA, providing rehab to those working at the 4th alarm fire.

Canteen 3 was on scene in Dudley MA for a 2nd alarm fire.
While on scene, over 10 gallons of Gatorade, 5 gallons of water, and 2 pots of coffee were distributed to those on scene.

Providence Canteen provides meals for Law Enforcement and Fire Personnel at Boston Marathon

   Monday, April 16, 2018 at 05:15 AM Canteen 1 with a crew of 6 departed Warwick RI for Boston MA. Their mission, to feed to Law Enforcement and fire personnel working the Boston Marathon Detail. Arriving just after 0630 crew members set up the truck and prepared to start serving breakfast which included ham and egg sandwiches with a cup of freshly brewed Dunkin Donuts Coffee.
Around 10:30 AM they moved on to lunch which included American Chop Suey, Shepard's Pie and a Chicken Casserole, Ham, Roast Beef or Turkey sandwiches and assorted pastries for dessert. Our crews cleared Boston around 15:30 hrs returning to quarters to restock and clean the truck and going back in service at 19:30 hrs

Providence Canteen seeks donations

At fires you'll often see the Providence Canteen. The mobile unit is known for helping emergency officials throughout Southern New England, but recently they've been struggling to stay afloat. Now, the group that helps so many is asking for assistance themselves. ​
